Canberra Academy of Chess is running two Masterclass Holiday Workshops this year. These Workshops are intended for students who are looking for an extra challenge in the school holidays, and will feature a master chess coach, who will be teaching more advanced material than in a typical coaching clinic.

- Tuesday 6th October (Spring Holidays)

Coach:
- IM Andras Toth (International Master with FIDE rating 2372, chess author, coach of top ACT junior players)
Format:
The workshops will include lectures on opening play and typical middle-game themes which arise from the openings. Children will have an opportunity to practice applying these themes in training games. Children receive notes and homework to accompany all lectures, and these notes should be used at home to review the topics and reinforce their understanding of new ideas.
Cost:
$66 per session. Fee must be paid in advance.
